Animal Rescue and Farm Sanctuary is located in Trego, Wisconsin. We are a non-profit tax exempt
organization that is dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of farm animals, primarily horses. Since our
efforts began in 1998 we have been in several news segments, seen on Animal Planet and been in several
newspaper articles. Animal Rescue and Farm Sanctuary is also the recipient of the Jefferson award and the
Caring Tree award given for volunteering and outstanding involvement in the community.

Over the years that A.R.F.S. has served the community, hundreds of
animals have been saved from neglect and abandonment. With the help of
many volunteers our farm has grown to comfortably provide shelter to over
60 animals of different breeds, sizes and shapes.
Some animals come here for their last days while others receive health care,
training and the promise of a new family. We take pride in doing a good job
and consider what is best for each and every animal that comes into our
care. Any humane work requires a great deal of dedication to do the job
right. Here at the sanctuary, animals are our life and we hope the best for
each and every one in need.
