Horses have been a very important mission of ARFS through the years.
We deal with many behavioral issues and nutritional issues including very old
age and sanctuary. There are several ways to rehabilitate a horse in need
starting with security,courage, peace and health. Sadly we do not take
dangerous animals as requested over the years. But the animals that can
recover find a home with us sometimes for life. We offer rehabilitated
horses for adoption all year long. Some are kill bound some are simply owner
surrenders that could do no more. All horses are evaluated on every level as
far as herd status,ground manners,rideability,temperment and age. Any
horse for adoption is proven and safe with veterinary certificate. We are no
nonsense and will not adopt out an unstable animal.

Over the years we have served as a Clydesdale rescue, offering sanctuary to kill bound Clydesdales in need most being seniors.
We also welcome all breeds of horses including ponies, donkeys and mules. Health certificates need to accompany horses out of
our state as well as a current coggins test. Limited openings are available so call for current status and open stalls. We wish
